Become a C.L.E.A.N. Early Tobacco Prevention Specialist

The most powerful tobacco prevention work happens before a child ever encounters tobacco. It happens in the classroom, the daycare room, the afternoon with a nanny — in the ordinary moments where a trusted adult teaches a child how to breathe, how to feel, and how to find calm without reaching for something outside themselves.

This one-day live training certifies early childhood professionals in the C.L.E.A.N. framework for nervous system regulation, hypnotic storytelling, and age-appropriate emotional literacy — giving you a complete, ready-to-use toolkit and a distinctive professional credential.

Live One-Day Training via Zoom Saturday, July 11, 2026, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST ★ Early Bird: $147 — Ends May 31, 2026 Standard: $197

Prevention Does Not Begin at Twelve. It Begins at Two.

Eighty percent of adult tobacco users began before the age of eighteen. The dependency did not start with a first cigarette in high school. It started years earlier — in a nervous system that never learned to regulate itself without external help, in an identity that was still forming and hungry for anchors, in a child who was never given the internal tools that would have made the substance unnecessary.

The research on tobacco prevention is unambiguous: the most effective interventions are not the ones that happen at thirteen, when the risk is already acute. They are the ones that happen at three, at five, at seven — when the neural architecture for emotional regulation is still being wired, when the capacity for self-soothing is still being built, when a trusted adult's consistent presence and language and tools go in at the deepest possible level.

That trusted adult is you.

Not a clinician. Not a hypnotherapist. A person who is already in the room, already in relationship with the child, already the most natural and available prevention resource that exists — and who, with the right framework and the right tools, can do more upstream prevention work in an ordinary Tuesday afternoon than any school program does in a semester.

You do not need a clinical license to change the trajectory of a child’s nervous system. You need the right tools, the right language, and the confidence to use them. That is what this training gives you.

Four Hours. A Complete Framework. Tools You Can Use on Monday.

This is a live, interactive Zoom training with demonstration, practice, and direct access to Guzalia Davis — Hypnotherapist, founder of the C.L.E.A.N. Tobacco Recovery System, and author of Raising Tobacco-Free: A Parent’s Guide to Prevention, Self-Regulation, and Early Intervention from Birth to Young Adulthood.

The training is structured as four one-hour modules, each building on the last.

Hour 1 — The Foundation Why early childhood is the prevention window that matters most. The neuroscience of the developing nervous system in language that is clear and immediately useful — no clinical background required. You will learn: how the young brain develops regulatory capacity, what co-regulation is and why it matters, how the seeds of dependency are planted long before adolescence, and why early childhood professionals are uniquely positioned as prevention agents. This is the why that will inform every tool you use for the rest of your career.

Hour 2 — The Regulation Toolkit The practical practices, demonstrated live. You will learn and experience each tool directly — not as an observer, but as a participant — so you understand from the inside what you are offering children. Breath practices by age: Bubble Breathing, Bear Breathing, Starfish Breathing, and the Physiological Sigh adapted for young children. The Body Weather Report daily check-in. Emotional vocabulary building in daily routines. The Traffic Light framework for school-age children. For each practice: what to say, how to say it, how to introduce it as play, how to integrate it into an existing daily routine without disruption, and what to watch for as children engage with it.

Hour 3 — Hypnotic Storytelling This is the module that most surprises participants — because most people have never been taught to use story as a deliberate regulatory tool, even though they have been doing something like it instinctively for as long as they have worked with children. You will learn: what makes a story hypnotic in the clinical sense, why young children are naturally in a receptive state during storytelling, the specific narrative elements that build regulatory capacity and emotional literacy at the subconscious level, and how to tell these stories with the pacing, voice, and presence that makes them genuinely effective. Guzalia will demonstrate a live regulatory fairy tale. You will leave this module able to read from the provided scripts immediately and to begin adapting them over time.

Hour 4 — The Professional Layer How to bring this into your workplace and your professional life. You will learn: how to describe your new credential accurately and compellingly — to employers, to parents, to colleagues. How to run a parent workshop using the ready-made facilitator materials in your resource pack. The legal and ethical boundaries of this work — what you are qualified to offer and how to represent it honestly. We will also cover: how to introduce this work to a skeptical employer or director, how to position it as a value-add for your workplace, and how to use the professional templates in your pack to create a polished presence around your new specialty. The training closes with a live Q¦A.

Your Credentials: Two Certificates

C.L.E.A.N. Early Tobacco Prevention Specialist

Certificate of Completion: Issued upon passing the written exam — available with a three-month completion window. The exam includes knowledge assessment and practical application reflections demonstrating your readiness to bring these tools into your professional setting.

Raising Tobacco-Free Children Initiative

Certificate of Commitment: Issued upon signing the digital pledge — a personal and professional commitment to bringing regulation and prevention tools into your work with young children. This certificate places you within a growing network of early childhood professionals who have made an active commitment to upstream prevention. It is a statement of mission, not only of training. Suitable for display in your classroom, daycare, or workspace — a visible signal to parents and colleagues that this work is part of how you care for children.

What You Can Do with this Credential

This Is Not a Certificate That Sits in a Drawer.

C.L.E.A.N. Early Tobacco Prevention Specialists are equipped to offer something concrete and distinctive from the day they receive their certificate.

✓ Integrate daily nervous system regulation practices into your classroom, daycare room, or care routine — using the provided scripts and games

✓ Tell hypnotic regulatory stories to young children as part of your existing read-aloud practice

✓ Run a 60–90 minute parent workshop on nervous system regulation and early prevention using your ready-made facilitator pack — independently, through your employer, or as a community offering

✓ Add C.L.E.A.N. Early Tobacco Prevention Specialist to your resume and LinkedIn with the provided credential language

✓ Display the C.L.E.A.N. seal on your website, business cards, and professional materials under your personal license

✓ Display the Raising Tobacco-Free Children Initiative certificate in your classroom or workspace

✓ Describe your specialty accurately and compellingly to parents, employers, and professional contacts using the provided templates

✓ Pitch a staff training to your director or employer using the on-site training inquiry pathway

A parent who sees the C.L.E.A.N. seal in your professional profile is seeing evidence that someone took the time to learn something most educators never learn — and that their child is in the care of someone who understands how the nervous system actually works.

Your Trainer

Guzalia Davis is a Hypnotherapist and Hypnosis Trainer, the founder of the C.L.E.A.N. Tobacco Recovery System and the International Hypnosis School, and the author of multiple books on tobacco cessation, nervous system regulation, and early childhood prevention — including Raising Tobacco-Free: A Parent’s Guide to Prevention, Self-Regulation, and Early Intervention from Birth to Young Adulthood.

She has worked for many years with adults trying to recover from tobacco dependency — and in that work, she has seen the same pattern with remarkable consistency: the dependency began in a nervous system that was never given the tools to regulate itself without external help. This training exists because the most effective intervention she can offer is the one that happens twenty years before a client arrives in her practice.

The exam is available in your Podia hub after the training, with a three-month window to complete it.
